Our Promise
Every child carries the seeds of their own healing.
We help them grow.

A collective built on connection and care

New Heritage Collective was founded on the belief that healing is a communal act. When a child struggles, the whole community feels it โ€” and when a child thrives, the whole community is lifted. We bring together clinical expertise, genuine relationship, and a deep respect for each young person’s heritage, identity, and potential.

Our team of licensed clinicians, care specialists, and support staff work collaboratively to create individualized treatment experiences that honor the whole child โ€” not just their diagnosis.

01
Cultural Humility
We honor each young person’s background, identity, and lived experience as central to their healing journey โ€” not peripheral to it.
02
Relational Safety
Consistent, caring relationships with trusted adults are the foundation of every therapeutic interaction at New Heritage Collective.
03
Youth Empowerment
We actively involve young people in their own care, honoring their voice and building the self-advocacy skills they’ll carry for life.
04
Community Continuity
From admission to aftercare, we maintain meaningful connections to family, school, and community to support lasting, sustainable recovery.

A community-centered path to lasting healing

Our approach is grounded in relationship, informed by research, and guided by the belief that every young person has the inherent capacity to heal and grow.

1
Holistic Assessment
We begin by understanding the whole child โ€” their strengths, history, cultural background, and goals โ€” to develop a genuinely individualized treatment plan.
2
Collaborative Treatment Planning
Youth and families are active partners in setting meaningful, measurable goals that guide every aspect of care and evolve as growth unfolds.
3
Therapeutic Community
Our structured milieu โ€” predictable routines, positive peer relationships, and meaningful daily activities โ€” is itself a therapeutic tool that builds skill and confidence.
4
Supported Transition & Aftercare
We begin planning for a successful return to the community from day one, coordinating with families, schools, and providers to ensure continuity of care.

Stories of growth & connection

Healing happens in community. Here is what families, clinicians, and young people share about their experience with New Heritage Collective.

New Heritage Collective truly lives its values. The staff took the time to understand our son’s background and build real trust with him. For the first time, he felt like someone genuinely saw who he was โ€” not just his diagnosis.

Parent of a 13-year-old
Residential Treatment Program

As a school-based counselor, I’ve worked with many residential providers. New Heritage Collective stands out for their commitment to keeping youth connected to their education and community throughout treatment. The transition back was seamless.

I came in not trusting anyone. But the people here were different โ€” they actually listened and never gave up on me. I learned who I really am here. I’m proud of how far I’ve come.
